Empowering Young Women in STEM:
A Comprehensive Educational and Support Program
The African Women Mobilization Commission (AWMC) is dedicated to empowering women and girls through philanthropy, advocacy, cultural enrichment, and training. AWMC's proposed training program aims to address the educational needs of young women aged 18 and up who have aged out of foster care, as well as those from low-income families with an interest in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) fields, as well as in agricultural sciences.
By providing a supportive environment and access to quality STEM education, AWMC aims to equip these young women with the skills and knowledge necessary to thrive in today’s technology-driven world.
The proposed center in collaboration with INTEGRATED LIVING SYSTEM, will serve as a dual-purpose facility, offering housing for young women in need and a day-schooling program focused on STEM education.
The center will collaborate with local educational institutions that specialize in STEM programs and will also employ qualified professors and industry professionals as adjunct faculty.
This collaboration will ensure that AWMC students receive top-notch instruction and mentorship.
